blue
moon fund
blue moon fund in Charlottesville, VA is the primary funder for the
Viable Futures Toolkit. Its mission is to improve the human condition
by changing the relationship between human consumption and the natural
world. The blue moon fund’s major areas include: |
1)
rethinking consumption and energy
2) balancing human and nature ecosystems
3) re-energizing urban communities |
| |
Additional
funding for the Toolkit was provided by the Annie E. Casey Foundation,
which works to build better futures for disadvantaged children and
their families in the United States. The primary mission of the Foundation
is to foster public policies, human service reforms, and community
supports that more effectively meet the needs of today’s vulnerable
children and families.
We also thank AARP for their additional
support in the application of the toolkit in selected communities.
We thank these foundations for their support but acknowledge that
the findings and conclusions presented in the Viable Futures Toolkit
and viablefuturestoolkit.org
are those of the Project Staff alone. As such, they do not necessarily
reflect the opinions of the foundations. |

Production of the Viable Futures Toolkit and
